June sucker spawning at the Provo River Delta

“This year’s June sucker spawn in the newly constructed delta has been a success. During Utah’s tremendous, extended spring runoff, a near-record number of June suckers migrated through the delta into the Provo River for their annual spawning event. …
“We’ve already detected several hundred larval June suckers, demonstrating that…these very young fish are making it into the restored delta’s excellent nursery habitat…”
