Propose a wildlife movement project

The Wildlife Migration Initiative is a grassroots effort that documents, improves and preserves wildlife movement throughout Utah. To accomplish this mission, the WMI enlists the help of partners to conduct research and monitoring projects throughout the state on a wide variety of terrestrial and aquatic species. Many projects involve capturing animals and fitting them with tracking devices to monitor their movements. Some aquatic projects involve removing barriers to underwater migration, where possible, allowing species to migrate and complete their life cycle.
