The razorback sucker, a uniquely distinguishable brownish-green fish that is found only in the Colorado River, came dangerously close to extinction by the late 1980s. Thanks to the continued work of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and many partner agencies, razorback sucker populations have successfully rebounded.
