Beneficial barriers: Helping native Colorado River cutthroat trout populations in the Uinta Mountains

“When all the barrier work in the area has been completed, this project will have restored over 100 miles of stream for native Colorado River cutthroat trout. Over the past three years — since this barrier was completed — more than 13,000 cutthroat trout have been stocked in Carter Creek and its forks.”
